STUDIO

At Boshoff Architects we take pride in our craftsmanship down to each stitch and dot. By aiming to not only explore the conceptual width but the depth of the project philosophy as well, our projects range from a variety of design methods from sketch design, scale model building, innovative 3D printing and CNC work subsequently informing the way we think about the design. This exploration can then be combined with new technical advances to our unique advantage.

THE TEAM

Louis and Tanya share a love for the authenticity of the South African built environment and all its vibrancy. Their lives have been shaped by the pockets of space in city centres. Coffee shop nooks, street galleries, park markets, CBD weddings and coastal promenades have been pivotal points in how their passion for architecture has grown. They are drawn to finding interesting things in unexpected places and translating it into welcoming spaces, whether a cosy daybed, a spacious braai with a view of playful greenery. From coastal origins to ‘platteland’ education to time in the city has led to a broader understanding of how people use spaces and how we as creatives can better our built environment.
